Feedback from Parents
'The staff here are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable and my daughter seems to have settled into the pre-school routine really well. There is a fab garden and a wide range of toys, crafts, messy play set up each day. We are given ideas for supporting learning at home and are given the opportunity to be involved with activities (letter of the week, country of the month, trips etc.) Since starting here, my daughter's knowledge of sounds and numbers has increased considerably, yet it doesn't feel at all 'school-like' (a big bonus from our perspective). One aspect I have been particularly impressed with is the feeling that staff are continually striving to make improvements to the pre-school, whether it be resources or ideas. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a really lovely, nurturing and warm environment for their child.'
'My daughter is always really eager and happy to go to pre-school. She thoroughly enjoys it and has made some lovely friends. The teachers are great, they are friendly and approachable and have made it very enjoyable for her whilst learning. I am so pleased with her progress so far. This is a great pre-school and I would definitely recommend it. My daughter is already looking forward to next term! Thank you for your continued efforts' June 2013.
'I am very happy with the pre-school, my son seems much more confident and is coming home singing songs and telling me about the things he has learned. Its great he gets to socialise in this way before starting school’ June 2013.
‘My daughter has only attended The Village Pre-School for one month so far, however I have found all the teachers to be very welcoming, friendly and approachable. My daughter is always exciting about going and seems to have a very trusting relationship with the teachers which is lovely. It’s nice to see notices each week on what the children are learning about and I love
picking her up to find something that she had made that day. The class size is lovely and the setting is safe, welcoming and very encouraging for children’ June 2013.
‘My son has really enjoyed this year at The Village Pre-School, he had developed and grown, mainly through the dedication, professionalism and care shown by all the staff. The activities are varied and challenge the children in their learning to help them progress through the Early Years Foundation Stage. I cannot recommend this pre-school highly enough' June 2013.
‘ My daughter and I love this pre-school. I knew that starting pre-school would be a big step
for both my daughter and I as she hadn’t previously been to nursery of any sort. The Village
Pre-School provides a prefect stepping stone to school with very caring, friendly staff in a lovely spacious hall. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her year at The Village Pre-School and she has been encouraged to enjoy learning through the many activities provided. I look forward to being part of the pre-school again when my son starts’ June 2013.
‘ Its been so lovely to see my sons confidence grow over the past year at The Village Pre-School. The staff are friendly, engaged and committed to creating a happy environment for the children
to develop in. The theme weeks really encourage the parents involvement in the children’s learning. Thank you everyone for a great year’ June 2013.
‘ I’ve found The Village Pre-School to be a wonderful place where my son has thrived. It’s a lovely, kind and warm environment where children can learn key skills as well as valuable social skills such as sharing and making friends. The Key Workers truly care about each individual child and go to great lengths in helping them adapt to the pre-school routine. I am constantly amazed at the topics my son comes home and talks to me about, such as Outer Space and he has learnt the alphabet. As well as this, the pre-school also had great facilities such as a reading room and large shaded outdoor space with tiered levels for different play activities, such as imaginative play and the children’s gardening area. I would strongly recommend this pre-school, a great starting point for a child’s education’ June 2013.
